We left Emmetten yesterday at 9h and reached Ancona at 19h. After a long day of driving we were happy to reach the Emilia, a calm and beautifully situated hotel. We celebrated Gaby’s birthday with a lovely fish menu and wonderful regional wines. The next day, we woke up with a heavy thunderstorm, no chance for a morning bath in the pool. But breakfast was great.
We spent the morning at the hotel, had lunch in town and boarded the ferry to Patras at 17h. At 18.15h we sailed out of the harbour.
Our cabin was tiny but comfortable and we slept like sea-bears. In the morning we passed Korfu, dropped some passengers at Igoumenitsa and arrived at Patras at 17.30h. We took then the lovely scenic route to Delphi and reached the hotel the Delphi Palace at 20h.
